Golf Course Introduction
Chang Gung Golf Club is located at Chang Gung Golf Club Road, Guishan District, Taoyuan City. Situated on the scenic Linkou tableland, the club has 27-hole golf course and related facilities.
Chang Gung Golf Club was officially opened in January 1983 and was designed by the internationally renowned Japanese designer Hiroshi Watanabe. The course covers an area of 116 hectares and has 27 holes. It is divided into north, central and south zones, each of which has 9 holes. The length of each zone is about 3,600 yards, and the width of the course is about 60 yards. The terrain is flat and wide, the height is moderately undulating, and the environment is comfortable and pleasant. More than 100,000 trees have been planted around the course. There are luxuriant banyan trees forming a green tunnel along the entrance to the parking lot--a well-known scene of the golf club.
Under the leadership of President Wang Wun-Yuan, Chang Gung Golf Club has long promoted golf and sports for everyone. Also, it has spared no effort to support the promotion of golf in Taiwan by proactively discovering and training talented young players and offering venues for competitions and practices.
Thanks to the efforts of all the colleagues, the facilities and services of this golf course have been well received. The club has always strived for excellence and continued to work hard to improve the quality of the course, hoping to become the best golf club in Taiwan.
