Formosa Plastics Group encourages employees to stay healthy and love sports and wins Excellent Healthy Workplace Award for 9th year

FPG participated in the Excellent Healthy Workplace Award in 2018. In the end, five FPG factories across Taiwan won the award: the Longde Plant of Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation, the Mai-Liao Power Corporation, Formosa BP Chemicals Corporation, the Xingang Plant of Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation, the Renwu factory of Formosa Heavy Industries. Formosa Plastics Corporation's Renwu Factory and Formosa Heavy Industries' Mailiao Factory also won the Golden Healthy Workplace Creativity Award. Today, the representatives attended the award ceremony held by Health Promotion Administration, including Lin Ching-Tsu (Associate General Manager), Pan Chun-Tien (Associate General Manager), Lin Shu-Sen (General Manager), and Hung Chung-Fa (Senior Associate General Manager), Tsai Chi-Lin (Associate Representative). FPG has been recognized by Excellent Healthy Workplace Award for 9 consecutive years.
Since its establishment, FPG has been operating for more than 60 years. It upholds the business philosophy of "ensuring employees' happiness and build trust with investors" by founders Wang Yung-Ching and Wang Yung-Tsai by promoting the physical and mental health of employees. FPG aims to build a healthy and happy workplace together with its employees. Since 2010, FPG has participated in the Excellent Healthy Workplace Award. It has won the award every year because of its effort in encouraging its employees to stay healthy with complete health promotion rules and active promotion of weight management, healthy eating and creative sports.

FPG won the award in 2018 particularly because of its focus on the employees' needs and promotion of healthy workplace measures based on workplace characteristics. Building a healthy workplace has become a fundamental objective of FPG. All the FPG employees actively participate in achieving this goal and work together to pursue a healthier and more comfortable work environment.
