Internal carbon pricing
FPG the first in Taiwan's traditional industries to implement internal carbon pricing!
FPG has always attached importance to achieving corporate culture and policy goals through its management system. In response to the global trend of carbon reduction, to let all employees personally experience carbon reduction, and to issue warnings of risks to increase the probability of discovering opportunities sooner, companies in FPG formally implemented internal carbon pricing and set the cost of each ton of carbon emissions in 2022, applications are as follows:

Interdepartmental performance management
Factories must check GHG emissions and calculate the cost of carbon emissions each month, and include the cost in its monthly income statement, which is used to evaluate interdepartmental business and carbon reduction performance.

Product benefit evaluation
Departments with relatively high cost of carbon emissions will review product transformation, equipment renewal, or increase in green energy use to achieve overall carbon reduction goals.

Investment project evaluation
When a company is evaluating capital expenditures, such as new product development or expansion projects, it is required to calculate the cost of carbon and include the cost when assessing investment benefits. The company then plans investment strategies aligned with carbon reduction goals on this basis.

Procurement selection criteria
During equipment procurement, besides considering energy consumption, we also calculate the cost of carbon emissions from the equipment, and include it in the vendor's quotation for price comparison.

Investments in energy conservation and carbon reduction
Companies will calculate the cost of carbon each year, and make investments in energy conservation and carbon reduction based on the spirit of using funds for their designated purpose.
