Employee Compensation Policy
Salaries at FPG are all higher than the local minimum wages, as well as the industry average to attract and retain outstanding talents. The compensation of new employees is determined based on their education background and work experience required for the position. The basic salary of male and female employees in the same position and at the same job level is 1:1. Employees receive raises and promotions based on their work performance each year.
Over these years, we have dedicated our efforts to maintaining steady salaries that ensurs employees to have better lives, and creating friendly work environments. In “Taiwan High Compensation 100 Index”, which was created by the Taiwan Stock Exchange as a corporate social responsibility index to encourage enterprises to take employee compensation seriously, FPG, Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, Formosa Chemicals & Fiber Corporation, Formosa Petrochemical Corporation, and Nanya Technology Corporation have been selected as constituent stocks for many years. This shows that we are recognized for our profitability and employee compensation, which has a positive effect on employee engagement and operational stability, and further lays the foundation for sustainable operation.
Employee Benefits
Each factory is equipped with a management office (section), responsible for logistics support and benefit services. We also established an Employee Welfare Committee, responsible for organizing company trips, gifts during the three main Chinese festival holidays, birthday gifts, scholarships for employees' children, group insurance, recreational activities, and club subsidies, providing services and taking care of employees' needs in daily life. Leave Benefits
We provide employees with special leave, marriage leave, funeral leave, official leave, occupational illness leave, paternity leave, maternity leave, sick leave, menstruation leave, personal leave, family care leave, transfer leave, leave for personnel stationed in Vietnam, epidemic prevention leave, and vaccination leave. The pay standards for sick leave, funeral leave for certain family members, typhoon day, and vaccination leave are all better than the required by labor laws.

Insurance Benefits
In addition to Labor Insurance and National Health Insurance, the Employee Welfare Committee also enrolls employees in accident insurance and medical insurance. We also provide group insurance (accident insurance, medical insurance, and cancer insurance) at a discount price, so that employees have more options to obtain complete insurance coverage.

Retirement Benefits
We make pension appropriation and allocate retirement reserve monthly. Once an employee meets the retire requirements, we make pension payments in accordance with the law and also provide a retirement souvenir.

- When an employee or their family member gets married or passes away, we provide consolation money or gift.
- Factories are equipped with breastfeeding rooms for employees during work time.
- We provide parental leave in accordance with the law, and allow eligible employees to adjust their working hours based on their parental needs.
- We provide parental leave without pay, which employees may apply for as needed.

Healthcare Benefits
- We provide employees with periodic health examinations with more checks than the required by law.
- For employees that engage in special hazardous working environments, such as noise and specific chemical substances, we provide special health examinations and implement worker health care project, We also include cancer screening, such as AFP, CEA, and oral mucosa, into the health examination program.
- We subsidize medical expenses for employees and their family members at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Employees also enjoy discounts for health examinations.
- Some factories provide fitness and recreational equipment, such as basketball court, volleyball court, table tennis room, and fitness room.
- Sending irregularly health education information and organizing health seminars in factories
- Factories have infirmaries and medical personnel providing medication and advice, and organizing health promotion activities, such as weight management, smoking cessation clinic, preventive healthcare, and stress relief seminars.

- Subsidies for purchase (trade-in) electric scooters: A subsidy of NT$16,000 is provided for trading in an old scooter for an electric one, while purchases subsidy is NT$10,000.
