Donate NT$1 Billion in Relief Fund to the Government for Dedicated Use Assist Industries and Public to Overcome the Chal-lenges of the Pandemic Together

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic at the beginning of 2020, the global economy has experienced a significant down-turn. Domestically, it is no exception that most industries are sub-stantially impacted. Under the service industry particularly, busi-nesses closing down or going bankrupt were reported from time to time, and the number of people on unpaid leaves and the un-employment rate were rising unceasingly. The severity of the pandemic affects the survival of many businesses and the liveli-hood of many people.

Upholding the spirit of "Take from Society, Give Back to Socie-ty" as well as the humanitarian concern of "Treat Others as Our-selves, Love Others as Ourselves," FPG decided to donate NT$1 billion as relief fund to the government for dedicated use. The funding was a proposal from the Administration Center and was later approved by the Management Center. FPG aims to assist in-dustries and people drastically affected by the pandemic in order to get through this challenge together.
