[Ecological and environmental protection] Transforming waste into gold｜How is "oyster rope" recycled and reused?

Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation collaborated with the Ocean Affairs Council and Chiayi County Government, and announced that it will join the recycling of oyster rope. It invested NT$1 billion to build a recycled nylon raw materials factory in Xingang, Chiayi. At present, nylon recycled by the Xingang Plant and Vietnam Plant of Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation can generate 500 tons of usable materials per month, and plans to increase capacity to 1,250 tons/month before the end of next year.
