The dragon boat team of Formosa Petrochemical Corporation entered the 250 m Yunlin dragon boat race.

The team's performance improved from 1 minute and 18 seconds in 2018 to 1 minute and 12 seconds in 2019, but lost by 0.45 seconds to a formidable opponent that often wins dragon boat races.
