[Willing to give is owning] FPG and Ching Pao P.D. Charitable Foundation scholarship for low-income students and part-time work program

For years FPG and Ching Pao P.D. Charitable Foundation have shown their care for underprivileged students and given back to society. FPG began providing scholarships for low-income students in 2011 to provide timely assistance to students from economically disadvantaged families, and help them successfully enter a higher level educational institution. FPG began implementing the social welfare institution part-time work program in 2014, and collaborated with social welfare institutions for early intervention and elderly people to provide part-time work opportunities to college students in various departments. This lifts the burden on personnel of social welfare institutions, but more importantly, allows students to support themselves through their own labor and learn the attitude they need in the workplace. The program not only instills students with tolerance and the spirit of serving underprivileged groups, but also gives them different life experiences through service and work. We hope that the part-time work program will provide real benefits to students' career planning, and that students ill continue to participate in social services and contribute to society after they graduate. The two programs have benefited nearly 10,000 people and invested over NT$150 million.
