[We have not forgotten where we started from] FPG and Ching Pao P.D. Charitable Foundation – Holiday care program for low-income families

FPG and Ching Pao P.D. Charitable Foundation began implementing the Holiday Care Program for Low-income Families in seven townships around Mailiao Industrial Complex in 2011 to care for the underprivileged. Employees of the Sixth Naphtha Cracker serve as volunteers during Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival, and join the village chief or village secretary in personally handing out cash gifts and supplies. They also show care and provide warmth and necessary assistance. If they find anyone who needs emergency relief or medical treatment, they will utilize the emergency relief of Pao P.D. Charitable Foundation or the resources of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital or other organizations, so that underprivileged families will be able to enjoy the holidays. Over NT$75 million in gifts have been handed out so far, and put a smile on the faces of over 20,000 families during the holidays.
